Fashion is the best way to change the opinion we can have on ourselves.

We need a new aesthetic for a new body, for a new way of living.

My goal is to cancel the definition of the body as we know it today. Are we forced to show our body to say ‘I am pride of it’? That’s what is happening today in our society - if you don’t love something, hide it! I want to be a part of the new Self-Acceptance Revolution and celebrate the body.

My project is a collection of cocoons, constituting a body themselves. Through this project I want to understand and make understand that how we look doesn’t define who we are and what we are capable of.

Inspired by the concept of More is More, stemming from the Memphis Movement in the 80’s, I create an all-over genderless collection made from different techniques of textile. Using the properties and characteristics of knitting to give volume and enhance to what are called flaw; and the properties and characteristics of weaving to give strength, presence and more relief to the knitwear. Also using geometrical cuts and architectural forms to explore the body the most.

Colors and textures are the perfect medication to express ourselves. Inspired also by my own body image story, my collection is a reflection of what we need to feel safe, and a reflection of the inside.
